An update from site: Plashet Road
Our development at Plashet Road, where we are providing 65 apartments for affordable rent for the London Borough of Newham took a big step forward in early work.
The tower crane was erected across the 6th and 7th of December. With the crane in place, the next stage of work can begin on site which will include beam and block on the ground floor, followed soon after by the reinforced concrete (RC) frame.
Plashet Road is being built to Passivhaus standards. Passivhaus is a leading low energy design standard, and is a highly effective way of providing high standards of comfort and health, as well as reducing energy use and carbon emissions from housing.
Bugler Developments CEO Andy Bugler says, “We are pleased to be amongst the small number of UK homebuilders providing new housing in compliance with the innovative Passivhaus design standard. Our environmental impact and delivering sustainable homes are at the forefront of all our construction activities”.
