The Mayor of Newham Rokhsana Fiaz, along with colleagues from our client, the London Borough of Newham joined us to mark the Topping Out Milestone at Leyes Road.
Mayor Fiaz and attendees were provided with an update on site progress for the project, from the Bugler Developments team: Ben Ephgrave, Construction Director; Scott Willson, Senior Contracts Manager; and Phoebe Evans-Khan, Technical Coordinator.
We also heard from Maahi, who has been completing work experience on site as part of his T-Level course, and Devank, who is undertaking his Electrical Installation Level 2 & 3 apprenticeship. Both Maahi and Devank explained how valuable their experiences had been, and Bugler Developments are looking forward to continuing to help them with their studies.
Our attendees then took part in the ceremonial Topping Out on the fifth floor at Leyes Road, where we are working to provide 116 new Passivhaus standard homes in Newham – a combination of 1-, 2-, 3- and 4-bed homes – including 11 wheelchair accessible – all at London Affordable Rent.
