Weâre delighted to share that a team of five Bugler Group colleagues will be taking on the 2026 London Marathon in support of DENS, a charity helping rebuild lives across Dacorum.
The London Marathon is one of the worldâs most iconic sporting events, and while the 26.2 miles will be a huge physical and mental challenge, our motivation is clear: raising vital funds and awareness for a local charity that does incredible work.
DENS supports people facing homelessness, poverty, and social exclusion, providing not just emergency food and shelter, but also the training and opportunities needed to build a brighter future. The charity is particularly close to us, as part of our Paradise Depot project in Hemel Hempstead, we are building a new community hub for DENS, which includes an office, foodbank and social enterprise café.
Our five runners: Geoff, Kevin, Leonor, Scott and Thomas, have already begun their training, with plenty of long runs, early mornings and determination ahead in the build-up to April 2026. Our runners were pleased to present DENS with a ÂŁ5,000 donation to kick-start our marathon fundraising, on behalf of The Bugler Foundation.
