The project of 58 new build affordable apartments, built for Dacorum Borough Council, was recognised in the category for Best Affordable Housing Development (ÂŁ10-20m).
Mountbatten View delivers a vibrant community for its residents, adjacent to a large open space and within a short walking distance to the heart of Hemel Hempstead. The development also includes a play area, communal gardens, and a woodland walk.
This award follows previous recognition in 2025, with Mountbatten View named Residential Project of the Year in the Herts and Beds Construction Excellence Awards, and winning gold in the Hertfordshire Building Control Awards in the Best New Housing Development category (10+ units). The project also won the Herts Building Control Best New Social Housing Development (large) and an LABC Highly Commended award.
